Automatic Type Conversion
Auto Type Conversion affects assignment statements. If enabled then values of one type (e.g. double) can be assigned to variables of another (e.g. integer) via an automatic
type conversion. If it is disabled then you will get an incompatible types error message.
affects how values are passed to built in functions. If it is disabled then passing an integer to a function that requires a double will report an error. If it is enabled then
the integer value will automatically be converted into a double without reporting an error.
Include Files Enabled
Enabled or Disables the use of Include Files. Include files are only available if you have the “Unrestricted Program Size” upgrade.
Enabling this setting will cause the source code of the BASIC program to be reformatted each time it is loaded.
This setting will cause the editor to keep backups of your BASIC programs - note due to the file naming convention this option will not work on FAT32 formatted SD cards.
Use Deprecated Time Functions
If enabled then the newer time functions using doubles values will be replaced with the deprecated time functions using long values.
Full Screen Mode
If enabled then your BASIC program will be run in full screen mode.
Uses the online help files if possible which ensures that you have the latest information. If you are not connected to the Internet then the built in help files will be used instead.
Confirm Exit Application
If enabled then you will be presented with an “Exit Application?” dialog box before exiting Mobile BASIC
Application Shutdown On Exit
If enabled then Mobile BASIC will perform a full shutdown when you exit. By default Android Applications are left running and only fully shutdown when the system needs more resources. This allows you to be in control.
